Case Management Healthcare Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Case Management Healthcare Consultant to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive healthcare management services to ensure appropriate healthcare treatment, manage healthcare costs effectively, and enhance the efficiency of healthcare programs and operations. The position requires a blend of remote work and local travel within the Richmond, VA area.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive healthcare management services to facilitate appropriate treatment and manage healthcare costs effectively.
Ensure optimal outcomes by determining medical necessity and appropriateness of treatments.
Identify and follow through with continuous quality and compliance opportunities.
Address and correct any identified discrepancies.
Educate and empower customers to ensure compliance, satisfaction, and patient advocacy.
Optimize total healthcare costs and implement policy based on program directives and usage.
Educate and empower colleagues at all levels to enable informed decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or a non-licensed master's level clinician degree in behavioral health or human services (psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling) preferred.
Experience in case management and discharge planning.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, social services, or a related field.
