Responsibilities
• Develop and grow carrier relationships.• Procure carrier transportation services with cost and carrier vetting in mind.• Accurately communicate and capture shipment details in the TMS.• Support sales teams with rate quotes and terms and conditions.• Provide timely updates to internal and external customers.• Utilize track and trace technology for real-time tracking.• Monitor shipments and leverage technology to enhance service.• Collaborate with others in a team-based environment.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalency.• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.• 2 years of freight brokerage experience preferred.• Detail-oriented with a desire for growth and excellent customer service.• Proficient in Microsoft Office.• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.• Proven experience in planning and problem-solving.• Ability to multitask and have high attention-to-detail.• Procedural mindset with prioritization skills.• Ability to communicate with multiple levels of management.• Adequate interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.• Tech-savvy with knowledge of logistics software.
