Allpro Homecare is looking for an In-Home Caregiver to become part of our team and join our mission of providing quality care to our veteran population.This is an Independent Contractor 1099 PositionPay Range from $17-$20 per HourBenefits of working for Allpro:Set your own scheduleWeekly PayDirect DepositAdvancement OpportunitiesOnline TrainingJob Summary:Provides non-medical personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), housekeeping tasks, help with preparing meals, companionship and assistance with quality time activities, and other related supportive services aimed to enhance the client's quality of life, safety, and healthy living at home.Observes, records and reports activities and changes to the administrator.Must demonstrate competence in performing the necessary skills and only perform those skills described in the Service Plan for each assigned client.Duties and Responsibilities:Assists client with bathing, dressing and groomingAssists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, commode or toiletAssists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchairPerforms housekeeping dutiesPlan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).Assists with shopping and errandsReport any unusual events or occurrences to the administratorAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyCompletes all other duties within the Client Service PlanQualifications:Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsMust be at least 18 years oldMust be able to pass a backgroundExperience as a Caregiver preferableValid driver's license and reliable daily transportationWillingness to travel at least 45 minutes is a mustHoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodationsAdequate physical enduranceAllpro is a business founded and owned by a service-disabled veteran.
