Job Overview: As a caregiver, you will be responsible for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents. You will play a vital role in creating a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care and support to residents in their homes or residential facilities. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration. Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed. Monitor and manage behaviors to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors or care plans. Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents. Qualifications: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with resident rights and regulations governing home care services. Ability to provide direct support and assistance to individuals with varying needs. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. First aid certification is preferred.
