DOEWeekly PayPTO, Medical, Dental, Vison, 401kInsperity Perks: Earned Wage Access, Banking and Card Member Discounts, Cashback, and MoreCareer growth opportunities and an excellent culture with supportive leadership.As Intake Coordinator/Medical Records Specialist, here's a big picture view of what you'll do:Conducts initial reviews of various medical record documentation to ensure compliance standards are met.Complies medical records for records requests and prepares for the release of information.Order trackingMaintains compliance with transfer summary requirementsTracks referrals for analytic purposes.Insurance authorizations as neededReferral processing/intake support as neededRuns designated reports for leadershipManages and issues iPads and associated equipmentBenefit and payroll support as neededComplete other assignments as requested and assignedMay have access to personal health information ("PHI") necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.A few must haves for Intake Coordinator/Medical Records Specialist:Associate degree or equivalent years of experience2 to 3 years of experience with Electronic Medical Records is highly desirable.Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical, organizational and time management skills required.Accurate data entry skills.
