Responsibilities
• Assisting by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.• Ensuring procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.• Monitoring par level of all instruments and supplies.• Participating in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.• Training of new staff.• Assisting in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Requirements
• Proof of completion of an AAS or equivalent program required.• Minimum requirement is registry eligible within 12 months of hire.• American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer required within 12 months of hire.• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.• Graduated of an accredited program, bachelor's degree, or Associate Degree in Medical Specialty required.• Prefer to be an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or equivalent.• Proficient computer skills.
