Responsibilities
• Deliver nursing care to patients of varying age groups• Maintain competency and application of scientific knowledge• Float to different departments to provide patient care• Conduct care assessments and interpret assessment data• Complete system-based and hospital specific competencies• Accurately document observations, treatments, and care given• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer care to the patient• Implement a plan of care based on established standards• Administer medications safely and accurately• Delegate and supervise technical functions• Evaluate patient outcomes and revise plan of care• Resolve conflicts resulting from patient care or organizational issues• Act as a resource for employees, students, and residents• Support patient and family centered care• Float to different departments throughout the facility• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Graduation from an accredited/approved school of nursing• Current Registered Nurse license in Kentucky• Minimum one year of experience as an RN in an acute care facility
