Job summary
Nemours is hiring a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant.Ideal candidate will perform PA duties defined by Cardiothoracic Surgeon(s) and work under their supervision in various settings.Candidate must have surgical skills and experience in assisting in surgery.

Responsibilities
• Perform PA duties as defined by Cardiothoracic Surgeon(s).• Scrub in on cardiac, thoracic, and vascular OR cases as assigned/needed.• Function as a first assistant in surgery when assigned.• Anticipate and show initiative and surgical skill.
Requirements
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.• At least one year of related clinical experience required.• Demonstrable experience with clinical procedures.• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.• Delaware Physician Assistant license.• Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).• Federal Drug Enforcement Agency Registration (DEA) with Delaware address.• Current AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification required.
