Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional structural Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our specialized structural heart cardiology team. In this role, you will have a primary focus on providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing structural heart procedures, such as TAVR, Mitral Clip, watchman, PFO, paravalvular leak procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting interventional cardiologists with patient evaluations, procedure education, and post-procedure follow-up care.

Conduct thorough pre-procedure evaluations, including patient history review, physical assessments, and interpretation of diagnostic tests. Educate patients and their families about the details of structural heart procedures, including risks, benefits, and post-procedure care instructions. Assist in the coordination of patient care throughout the process, from pre-procedure preparation to post-procedure recovery and follow-up. Monitor patients' progress and recovery following procedures, addressing any complications or concerns as they arise. Provide ongoing patient education on medication management, vascular access care, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term heart health. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians and surgeons, and allied health professionals, to ensure seamless patient care delivery Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards. Stay informed about advancements in structural heart disease, techniques, technologies, and best practices through ongoing professional development activities. Participation with community education on valvular heart disease and improve management of patients with structural heart disease pathologies Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Cardiology. Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with focus on cardiology. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in interventional cardiology. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in interpreting cardiac imaging studies and diagnostic tests. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support patients throughout the interventional cardiology process. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice. Pay Range
$51.47 - $65.21 /hour
