The Camp Tree House Director will develop and ensure implementation of camp planning activities including enrichments, scheduling, and hiring of staff. During the summer session, the Director will be responsible for all aspects of daily camp operations, vendor relations, and field trip management. Duties include: Provide direct oversight for all aspects of CAMP TREE HOUSE Plan, organize, and facilitate all staff hiring and training. Adhere to all policies and procedures stated in the employee manual pertaining to camp. Create weekly staff schedules. Setup and supervise beginning and end of day procedures and clean up with staff and campers. Provide on-going, constructive evaluation and leadership to all day camp staff. Originate yearly communications with CAMP Assistant Director including: camp recruitment, enrichment brochures, mailings, website & other intermediaries. Ensure CDC, state and Campers association-guidelines are being met. Oversee camper drop off and pick up procedures. Monitor safety and all procedures as they pertain to the complete supervision of all campers and staff. Communicate with parents regarding any behavioral problems involving campers. Oversee and plan weekly camp activities and special theme days with CAMP staff if applicable. Communicate with partners or contactors for camp sports activities scheduling and groups. Collect and maintain records for any incidents or accident reports. Work with the camp nurse consultant to ensure all camper medical information and forms have been completed, are accurate, up to date and filed. Manage CAMP budget, Inventory and ordeing of all camp supplies including: arts and crafts supplies, snacks, first aid material and recreational equipment. Coordinate pick-up and delivery of camper's lunch. Write the end of year camp report including feedback and recommendations for improvements and budgetary requests for the following season. QUALIFICATIONS Positive attitude, motivated and passionate about career Team player, upbeat fun personality, willing to work with members of all ages Ability to multitask Ability to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours a day. Ability to lift up 20-40lbs. Current CPR/AED, first aid & Medication Administration Certifications Staff supervision experience Youth development knowledgeable COMPENSATION Hourly Rate - $21.00per/hour
