As a Call Center Representative based in our Golden, CO facility, you'll play a crucial role in connecting with Veterans and VA clinicians, helping to facilitate their access to a wide range of essential products. These products include hearing aid accessories, assistive listening devices, batteries, orthotic goods, prosthetic socks, aids for the visually impaired, and telehealth equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every interaction and transaction is handled with precision, care, and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently handle incoming calls from Veterans, processing and confirming orders during the call, which may involve multiple transactions.
Utilize various tools including Outlook, scanner technology, and our dedicated Remote Order Entry System (ROES) to process and track orders.
Maintain high standards of communication through email responses and telephone interactions.
Ensure all orders are accurate and dispatched in a timely manner, including verification of shipment tracking.
Process payments securely, specifically through credit card transactions and the PAY.GOV program.
Assist customers by navigating through the ROES software and providing step-by-step guidance as needed.
Deliver instructions and support on technical or administrative queries, ensuring a smooth ordering process and effective problem resolution.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least six months of experience in a customer service-oriented role (e.g., hospitality, retail, call center, etc.) with a strong emphasis on ensuring customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in using office technology and software, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and adept at typing a minimum of 40 WPM.
Strong ability to utilize various office equipment like computers, printers, scanners, and more.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. You will be expected to manage professional telephone conversations that effectively address customer inquiries or issues.
Ability to convey detailed information accurately or refer customers to alternative resources when more appropriate.
