Plus, we can deliver custom engineered solutions leveraging advanced automation and control systems, machine vision, and robotic technologies. Job Summary: Electronic Metrology Technician will calibrate and repair electronic test instruments in accordance with A2LA/ISO17025 standards.
Duties/Responsibilities: Perform calibration and repair on a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical measuring and test equipment (M&TE) Precisely follow policies and procedures, industry standards (ISO), and manufacturers' requirements for accurate calibration of electronic M&TE Complete required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of electronic M&TE Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of uncertainties, tolerances, and calibration Working knowledge/use and programming of multifunction calibrators to include Fluke's 5500A and 5700A series. Working knowledge/use and programming of 8.5-digit multimeters to include Keysight's 3458A and Fluke's 8588A. General familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO/IEC17025 Quality Systems Update gage tracking software Good written and oral communication skills as well as computer skills Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team Availability to travel as needed Education and Experience: 3-5 years of electronic Metrology experience, Formal training in Metrology, or previous Precision Measurement Equipment Course (PMEL) required Associate degree in electronics preferred Basic computer skills; Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and data entry High School Diploma or GED equivalent certification Metrology Knowledge and Skills: A sample of electronic equipment: Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Data Loggers, Hipot Testers, Clamp Meters, Power Supplies, Pressure/Vacuum, Temperature/Humidity, Time interval and Frequency Counters Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
Bending, kneeling, standing, grasping objects required
Prolonged standing required
PPE as needed (steeled toes, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves)
