Beeswax is looking for a Software Engineer 3 to join our Beeswax Ad Serving team. The Ad Serving system is the backbone of the Beeswax platform. It listens to billions of ad auctions per day, decides which of our hundreds of customers should participate, and executes complex bidding strategies to provide optimal results, in milliseconds.
Job Description
C++ experience is required for this position
Design and build data-driven
and
model-driven features for our customers to execute their marketing campaigns effectively
.
S
cale our distributed application and infrastructure to the next level
.
Optimize algorithms and software architectures to save cloud hosting costs
.
Support and extend the observability stack to capture and alert on any issues.
Participate in on-call rotations and be an escalation contact for service incidents.
Write systems documentation, playbooks, and other instructional manuals.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's or master's
degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Five years of software engineering experience
.
A deep understanding of what it means to build systems at scale.
Experience with
optimizing
performance,
scaling
and data modeling.
A strong grasp of software architecture.
Significant
experience
with
compiled languages
,
such as C++, Java, Rust, and Go.
Comfort in a Linux ecosystem.

Compensation
National Pay Range: $82,219.87 USD-$192,702.83 USD Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
