(FIS) is seeking a full-time Command & Control (C2) systems (Joint Automated Deep Operations Center (JADOCS)/Joint Tactical COP Workstation (JTCW)/Global Command & Control System (GCCS) Tactical COP Server (TCS)) Systems Administrator who must possess strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of the Government's systems' hardware and software. The C2 systems Systems-Administrator studies program operating instructions to determine equipment setup and operations. Continuously observes the operation of assigned applications and storage devices to monitor system operation and determines the point of hardware or software failure. This position manipulates systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when individual units of a system malfunction. Conferring with software systems engineering or applications programming personnel if errors require a change of instructions or sequences of operations. Maintaining operating records such as machine performance and production reports and system logbooks. This position shall be responsible for ensuring system availability and reliability of the MSTP C2 systems (JADOCS/JTCW/GCCS-TCO) on the networks.The mission of the MAGTF Staff Training Program (MSTP) is to: Train and Educate Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and Marine Expeditionary Brigades (MEB) Command Elements to conduct operations across the range of military operations, within the context of a Joint, Combined, or Coalition environment.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstalling operating system software, patches, and upgrades, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues.Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring operating system software and hardware.Performing system backups and recovery.Conducting server builds.Establishing complex operational databases, software configuration control and systems.Sets up interfaces with other C2 systems and/or simulation systems.Maintains file servers, network access; documents, analyzes, and troubleshoots systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDoD Secret Security ClearanceDoDD 8570.01-M IAT Level IISEC+Related BA/BS or equivalent.
