Buyer II Buyer II - O'Hara, PA PURPOSE This experienced buyer position is responsible for the coordination of schedules to meet customer requirements. This position is only assigned to a site procurement organization.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize SAP to release Purchase Orders for all production and service raw materials; Identify and communicate system issues related to master data; Request expedites and de-expedites with suppliers for material shortages or overstocks Manage system alerts for material stocking level issues Interact internally with Materials Management team to communicate issues and concerns related to role Review and disposition materials requested by internal customers Maintain SAP procurement parameters for assigned area of responsibility Prepare and issue reports related to supply activities and supplier delivery performance. REQUIRED QUALIFIACATIONS High School /GED graduate; 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in materials, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain; Demonstrated presentation, training, and interpersonal skills; Ability to influence other members of the organization to help achieve goals and increase performance; Ability to build relationships and partnerships within the organization; Ability to work on projects of low complexity with direction; Demonstrated problem solving abilities.
