Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified Buyer 3 to work an hybrid schedule with our customer in Tualatin, OR. The Group You'll Be A Part Of The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. The Impact You'll Make Review and analyze purchase requisitions Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise wide systems Participate in maximizing the procurement teams' changes, part parameters; quote table maintenance, supplier database information, error report analysis, and part number/supplier code information Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities (e.g., materials, components, equipment, and services) Monitor the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate highest quality at best value Interacts closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues Work with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability What You'll Do A Buyer 3 manages all commercial transaction between the company and suppliers as outlined above. Daily tasks include Management of all aspects of Purchase Orders and MRP exception messages such as: PPPC, acknowledgement, pricing discrepancy, Receiving variances, MRB, RTV, Hot orders and escalations. A Buyer 3 will collaborate highly at all levels internally within Supply chain, Factory Support, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Network Planning, Order Fulfillment, Change Order management, Quality, Logistics and management. In addition a Buyer 3 is expected to maintain and foster a good, professional relationship with their assigned suppliers in assuring consistent and On-Time material Delivery that supports clients Customer Needs.
Here's what you will receive: Pay rate: $35 - $45 per hour DOE.
Shift: 2 days required onsite | 5x40 schedule | M-F Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint) Commendable knowledge and experience in ERP systems SAP/Oracle and other procurement related tools Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Able to multi-task and prioritize daily workload. Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
