What you will be doing: • Analyzes user requirements to determine EPM system configuration and/or customization, evaluates business need for system customizations, conducts appropriate cost/benefit analysis and produces technical designs for identified customizations.
• Coordinates with functional subject matter experts and/or other internal professionals to define detailed requirements, analyze business needs and validate solutions with clients and translate into configuration and/or customization technical design.
• Actively participates in the Agile Scrum ceremonies and assists the team with program increment (PI) planning preparation and user story creation.
• Analyzes systems specifications and uses the latest analysis tools to represent business/technical processes in a system solution.
• Mentors less experienced developers including peer review and knowledge transfer as needed
• Collaborates with technical support teams to plan and complete knowledge transfer sessions to enable a successful handoff.
• Develops individual modules and functions as identified through technical design, develops conversion and implementation plans and ensures successful implementation of EPM system changes, monitoring changes for increased efficiency.
• Takes proactive measures to ensure optimal application and system performance and works to address any performance issues.
• Writes and executes thorough technical and functional test plans to ensure EPM system changes are working properly including the use of batch scripts, online processes, databases or interface files.
• Assists leadership with EPM roadmap by keeping up to date on the latest EPM cloud solutions and how they may fit into overall architecture.
• Reviews and communicates monthly cloud patches to determine any regression testing required and highlight new functionality to be evaluated.
• Provides new and innovative solutions to EPM system and application challenges.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring:
• Requires seven or more years of experience.• Experience in developing detailed business needs analysis and conducting Fit Gap analysis is required
• Knowledge and experience with testing methodologies, development and execution is required
• Experience in EPM system customization using recognized best practices is required
• Proven success in EPM implementations, upgrades, maintenance and/or support is required
• Knowledge of business process flows in an EPM system is required
• Experience in full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment is required
• Advanced knowledge of EPM system configuration and security is required
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to negotiate
• Strong organizational skills and creative problem solving abilities
• Strong customer service and leadership skills required
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within all levels of the company

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $123,810.00 - $207,980.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
