Join our team as an Business Resiliency Manager where you will play a vital role in conducting impact analysis, managing resiliency incidents, coordinating response strategies and managing communications to stakeholders.
As a Business Resiliency Manager in the Incident Management team, you will work with your team during incident response situations to maintain daily operational readiness and improve response efficiency. Your main focus will be to manage a team to help drive business response during real-time incidents reducing risk to employees, customers and the firm. During incidents, you will be responsible for working directly with the head of Incident Management in coordinating overall Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) response to ensure adequate services levels are maintained internally or through third-party relationships. After incident response events, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating applicable policies and procedures as well as constantly driving process improvement. Job responsibilities: Lead a team of Incident Managers in response to unplanned business resiliency incidents which impact any CCB asset or function. Facilitate executive-level meetings within CCB during incidents to capture impacts, report status and align relevant parties. Partner with Global Security, Global Technology, Global Real Estate and Cybersecurity (as appropriate) during firmwide crises to disseminate critical information throughout CCB and provide CCB's status for firmwide reporting. Monitor emerging and active incidents to determine actual and potential business impacts, including impacts to branch, operational and corporate sites, and personnel, globally. Maintain and execute against the CCB Business Resiliency Incident Framework and Incident Communications Playbook. Manage a team of three to four senior associate- and VP-level team members. Ensure adequate coverage levels, lead performance discussions, manage workload, and act as a coach to junior team members. Collaborate with internal and external peers as a member of the incident management leadership team. Lead strategic projects aimed at updating processes and improving incident response efficiency. Create cohesion and consistency within the team by updating procedures, training employees, and keeping the team organized in a consistent state of readiness. Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: 7 plus years in Business Resiliency/Continuity, Incident Management, Project Management, Controls and / or process development Communicate effectively in both verbal and written channels Deliver succinct and accurate messaging to stakeholders, including relatively senior leaders Extreme attention to detail Multitask, work under tight deadlines and retain maximum organization throughout a project Flexibility - thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and to manage effects of change to people, operations or technology Self-motivated, realize the need for change and seek feasible solutions Influencing - work with multiple stakeholders and influence them to arrive at effective solutions Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills Design and develop data management and representation tools to support reporting, business requirements and other initiatives Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills Business Resiliency, Operations & Incident Management experience preferred Experience with VBA, Alteryx and Tableau preferred Proven track record of working to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for independent workload 5 plus years of experience of financial services and/or general finance operations Strong knowledge of business operations functions and the ability to work independently to link changes with impacted functions Inclusive manager who leads with empathy and courage Provide constructive feedback and receive feedback with high level of emotional intelligence Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables and lead with accountability This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
This is a Hybrid position which will require the incumbent to commute/work on site 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week.
Occasional travel to other incident command centers will be required for collaboration and partnership exercises.
