Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space explorationvehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceivedand manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.We are seeking a highly skilled andexperienced Six Sigma Business Process Engineer to join our dynamic team inCloud Application Services.In this role, you will beresponsible for not only analyzing, designing, and optimizing businessprocesses to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction but toprovide support, guidance, and enablement to the wider business.As a Six Sigma Business ProcessEngineer, you will apply your expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies toidentify process improvement opportunities, streamline workflows, and drivecontinuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.Justification and Purpose:As our organization continues to rapidlyevolve, the need for well defined processes and process engineering as adiscipline has never been in more demand, so if you have a passion forproblem-solving, optimizing operations, and driving business excellence, weinvite you to join our team.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop process improvement strategies.Help to drive the adoption of business process engineering standards into the wider business, supporting other business process engineering resources to meet and adopt these standards.Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to design and implement optimized processes that reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity.Lead process improvement projects, including mapping as-is and to-be process flows, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.Develop and implement performance metrics and measurement systems to track progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.Provide training and guidance to employees on Lean Six Sigma principles, tools, and methodologies.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of process improvements and monitor their ongoing impact.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business process engineering and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.Business Process Engineering& Design in CApSGeneral:·Clearly understand the process levels (L1 to L4) and how eachlevel should be correctly represented.·Clearly understand process interdependencies, interactions,inputs, and outputs to make sensible and considered business processimprovement and optimization based predominantly on L2 and L3 processes.·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, anddocument current and future Level 2 and Level 3 business processes inSolutionlink applying Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) techniques andstandards.·Maintain L2 and L3 processes up to date when changes and varianceshave been introduced/identified.·Ensure compliance with CApS Process Engineering regulatorystandards and guidelines, best practices, and compliance requirements duringprocess design and improvement.·Maintain and promote standardized CApS Process Engineering processdefinitions and terminology across the organization.ProcessAnalysis & Continuous Improvement:·Lead functional and end-to-end process walkthroughs withstakeholders to define/identify process inputs, outputs, KPIs and ControlPoints.·Understand stakeholder needs, requirements, and pain points topropose effective process solutions.·Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to define, measure, analyze,improve, and control key business processes.·Conduct process assessments to identify pain points, bottlenecks,and opportunities for optimization.BusinessProcess Frameworks & Taxonomies:·Maintain CApS Process Engineering frameworks and taxonomies.ChangeManagement:·Address resistance to change and ensure successful adoption of newprocesses.·Influencing without authority.Requirements:·Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or MasterBlack Belt preferred.·Proven experience in business processengineering, process improvement, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.·Strong knowledge and practical application of Business Process ModelingNotation (BPMN)·Strong analytical skills with the ability totranslate data into actionable insights.·Excellent problem-solving andcritical-thinking abilities.·Proficient in process mapping and analysistools such including BPMN, SolutionLink and Lucid.·Strong project management skills with theability to lead cross-functional teams.·Excellent communication and interpersonalskills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.·Ability to drive standards within andexternally to the CApS organization.Why us?Working at Siemens Software means flexibility - Choosing betweenworking at home and the office at other times is the norm here.
