ob Overview : The Business Operations Coordinator is critical to the network operations of the Mundo Verde PCS. duties below are tailored to ensure timely payments that represent quality accounting services to service providers, local vendors, and parents who are enrolled in school programs like extended day and meals.  This position is also highly accessible to network teams, supporting the purchasing and reconciling to support programs related to curriculum, student services, operations, and the executive team. The Business Operations Coordinator reports closely to the Senior Business Manager. The Business Operations Coordinator is a member of the Operations Team and supports the organization at a Network Level. 
Reports To:  The Business Operations Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Business Manager. 
Responsibilities and Duties Accounts Payable/Receivable  Tracking payments primarily for the Extended Day Program, School Meals, Field Work, and other activities.  Maintaining accurate data about payments and balances on a weekly basis Responding to the daily calls and emails of families related to payments. Managing the communication with families to collect monthly fees. Manage payments and accounts in the school's student information system.   Manages the business side of school programs in the Student information system (e.g. Infinite Campus) Sends monthly payment data to members of the leadership team, including the Sr.  Director Business Manager, Sr. Meals manager, Director of Extended Day and Chief of Operations, and Sustainability Officer.  Business Systems Management  Manages and processes monthly orders received from network programs, including Extended Day, Meals, Curriculum and Instruction, Operations, and the Executive team. Orders meals for staff lunches and events. Works closely with Sr. Director Business Manager to support high-level events, like capstone trips and 5th-grade promotion. Works closely with the Chief of Operations and Sustainability Officer to execute network orders. Supports the reconciliation of Business Credit Cards  Support School Events Expected to attend (when relevant) and support pre-planned evening events throughout the year to answer parent questions related to their family account balances and enrollment Other Attend and participate in monthly meetings with the Director of Extended Day Programming and the Sr.  Director Business Manager. Meet monthly with the supervisor to evaluate progress, growth, and performance using Mundo Verde's evaluation process. Support school safety by supporting the daily transition of students from the daytime school program to the After School Program. Serve as a general resource for Spanish-speaking families inquiring about school services  Program Enrollment and Payment Protocols. Reinforce and remind students of school rules. As needed, provide assistance to teams such as, but not limited to, operations, management, development, communication, academics, etc. Other duties as assigned Qualifications, Skills, and Values Qualifications BA required Previous work in an urban school setting, preferably charter Intermediate, advanced, or native proficiency in English and Spanish Strong written, oral, and verbal communication skills Highly professional appearance and demeanor Experience with financial tools such as Quickbooks, automated billing systems, credit card payments Excellent computer skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, web-based platforms, etc.) and capacity for learning school technology (iPod, iPads, two-way radios, etc) Strong organizational and analytical skills and high detail orientation and strict adherence to deadlines and deliverables Problem solver able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Comfortable working both on teams and independently with ability to be flexible and take initiative Proven ability to plan, build and execute at the same time. Highly flexible with the versatility to shift between strategic and tactical responsibilities.
