What we do: The Risk Group is looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and energetic business operations analyst to join the Risk Product Strategy & Operations team providing support to the Bank's Chief Risk Officer and Risk Group Functions reporting to the Chief Product Owner. This position will be responsible for coordinating, integrating, and administering a range of diverse support functions. This position offers the opportunity to support the organization through relevant business operations, business processes, administrative, and analytical focused assignments.
Your role as a Business Operations Associate: Responsible for providing administrative and business operations services to the Bank. Activities include:
Scheduling and organizing meetings and travel arrangements for the Chief Risk Officer and Senior Leadership Team on ad-hoc basis
Plan and coordinate team events, meetings and relevant activities; manage logistics for events and collaborate with team members to ensure successful event execution
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to development of efficient workflows
Respond to inquiries regarding operations and processes of the assigned coverage area
What we are looking for: Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to exercise good judgment in the use of confidential or sensitive information pertaining to external and internal customers and operations.
Excellent at leveraging technology, including proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Teams). Experience generating presentations, reports and queries from databases and use of SharePoint and JIRA.
Identifies and prioritizes continuous improvement and innovation.
Implements and monitors low to medium complexity initiatives and projects as directed by management; ensures effective implementation (e.g. provisioning, change management, analytics, objectives, etc.).Demonstrated analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills, along with attention to detail.
Salary Range: $87900 - $151200 / year We believe in transparency at the NY Fed. This salary range reflects a variety of skills and experiences candidates may bring to the job.
