Job Details
Our Business Management Tax team is looking for dynamic and collaborative Manager to join our team in our Century City office.
Excellent job opportunity for an experienced individual to join our prestigious Business Management/CPA firm in Century City working with high profile entertainers and high net worth individuals and families. Core Responsibilities:
Prepare and review close outs, tax returns, etc.
Supervises the engagement (job) project management, ensures QC (technical) standards along with Tax Manager.
Takes care of the client (meets deadlines, timely communication).
Develops engagement team including Seniors and Supervisors, to oversee Associates and staff levels.
Understand and be able to explain the reasons behind the firms policies, procedures and practices and project management techniques.
Ensure all work papers are complete, consistent, and contain procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached.
Acquire skills (and/or refine) necessary to develop quality client relationships.
Identify key issues facing clients and discuss possible solutions to increase quality and efficiency.
Exhibit strong communications skills (verbal; written; presentation) with lower-level associates, management/partners, and clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
Bachelors Degree in accounting OR Bachelors Degree plus requisite accounting coursework.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License from appropriate state preferable.
Ability to be flexible in changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.
Ability to act in a responsive manner to client inquires and requests; escalate the more difficult issues as necessary.
Experience with corporate taxation, individual taxation, close-outs for loan out corporations servicing the entertainment industry
Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, CCH Prosystems and Datafaction is a plus.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $180,000
