About the RoleiCapital is looking for a Business Intelligence Data Engineer to join the Data and Analytics team. This role is responsible for implementing business intelligence and operational reporting across iCapital. This individual will report to the Head of Business Intelligence at iCapital. ResponsibilitiesWork with a cross section of iCapital Business professionals to implement new reporting and business intelligence dashboards to drive mission critical decision making and insights across Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Management.Work closely with our Finance, Sales, Product, Architecture, Engineering, and other business units across the firm to:Develop an understanding of and work to enhance our evolving data model.Gather requirements, design solutions and implement new reporting solutions.Partner with the head of business intelligence and others across the firm to:Continuously expand the use of data driven analytics.Further systematize the Business Intelligence process.Expand the self-service Business Intelligence and Reporting capabilities to additional areas of iCapital.QualificationsStrong analytical, critical thinking,and problem solving skillsDetail-oriented, naturally curious,and willing to question the status quo to understand business needsProactive, autonomous,and be able to recognize when help is needed Experience with gathering requirements and implementing solutions in a systematic wayIntermediate SQL competency5-10 years' experience using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau is a plus)Strong communications skills and the ability to liaise between senior business and technical engineering professionalsUnderstanding and experience with data modeling, relational databases, conceptual and physical data modelsFamiliar with core data governance principles, data stewardship, traceability, lineageProject management experience is a plusPrior experience in the financial services domain is a plusFamiliar with Machine Learning and Large Language Models is a plusTechnical degree background (math, computer science, engineering, management information systems) is a plusBachelor's Degree with 3-5+ years of previous work experience in a data related role?BenefitsThe base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000 depending on level.? iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
