Full job description We are partnering with a real estate investment group looking to grow their team by hiring a Business Development Specialist. The Business Development Specialist leverages strong interpersonal skills to build and nurture client and stakeholder relationships. The responsibilities of this role include prospecting validated leads, articulating and forming pitches to potential clients, developing solutions, scheduling meetings and calls, and creating marketing materials.



The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in high volume sales. This is an on-site role in Greenville, SC. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: Prospecting Validated Leads: Identify and pursue potential clients through various channels, leveraging validated leads to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in targeting. Pitching to Potential Clients: Craft persuasive pitches tailored to the needs and preferences of prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of the company's products/services. Developing Solution Options: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and objectives, developing customized solution options that address their specific challenges and goals. Coordinating with Department Associates: Work closely with internal teams across departments to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of client initiatives. Scheduling Meetings/Calls: Manage calendars and schedules to arrange meetings and calls with clients, coordinating logistics and ensuring all parties are well-prepared and informed. Creating Marketing Material: Develop compelling marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, and other materials, to support sales efforts and enhance client engagement. Sending Emails: Craft engaging and informative email communications to nurture leads, follow up on inquiries, and maintain ongoing relationships with clients. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource to address their evolving needs and drive customer satisfaction and retention. Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking leads, opportunities, and deals through various stages of the sales cycle, and providing regular updates and reports to senior management. Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, industry insights, and potential opportunities for business expansion or partnership. QUALIFICATIONS: 2-3 years of experience in high volume sales. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed targets. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is a plus. Prior experience in cold calling, sales or customer service is preferred. Ability to effectively present information to employees, management, and vendors Ability to read, analyze & interpret reports. Ability to write and speak effectively; Ability to state own opinions clearly and concisely and demonstrate openness and honesty. Works cooperatively with others, inside and outside the organization, to accomplish objectives to build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships, leverage information, and achieve results. Capability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization may exist. Experience exercising good judgment by making sound and well-informed decisions. Ability to make effective and timely decisions, even when data are limited, or solutions produce unpleasant consequences. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and one time and determine project urgency in a practical way. Uses goals to guide actions and creates detailed action plans. Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
