This role offers competitive compensation with excellent commission potential.
Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000
Commission OTE: $50,000 - $160,000

Brief Description:
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in fostering new business opportunities by building strong relationships with potential clients within your assigned area. Your responsibilities will encompass both inside and outside sales activities, including networking, lead generation, social media engagement, and participation in relevant trade associations.
Accountabilities:

Business development activity and diversification.
Conducting face-to-face meetings.
Generating significant leads.
Achieving profitable sales margins.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
(Within assigned region or any geographic market where our clients operate)
Business Development:
Focus on the assigned region, dedicating time and effort accordingly.
Cultivate and expand existing client relationships to boost lead generation and average job size.
Identify and engage with potential clients to promote BluSky's services.
Utilize the BluSky CRM system to manage a defined target list.
Actively support all sales efforts by following up on leads promptly.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals.
Meet sales activity targets through various channels including client meetings, events, phone, social media, and email.
Document and track leads and business development activities in Salesforce.
Strive to achieve individual sales goals annually.
Marketing:
Collaborate with leadership to plan association involvement levels and budgets.
Represent BluSky at tradeshows, golf tournaments, and promotional events.
Organize and participate in marketing functions, including networking events and social activities, often held after standard business hours.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain proficiency in our services and relevant terminology.
Adhere to company employment standards and Best Practices.
Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service at all times.
Contribute positively to the BluSky culture and community.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not involve direct reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience; restoration industry experience is preferred.
Availability to attend networking functions twice weekly.
Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience inputting and tracking sales-related data in a CRM system.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Must embody an outgoing, driven, tenacious, and team-oriented attitude.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Travel:
Travel primarily within the local area (25%); occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be required for training or meetings.

Work Environment & Physical Job Demands:
The work environment is typically quiet, with occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds. Employees are regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear, with frequent movement around the office.
