About the Role:
As the Business Development Lead you will be responsible for researching, creating and executing the sales and business development strategy. Understanding our technology and current applications will be the foundation. Your task at hand, to grow our footprint in the material handling space while expanding to new markets.
POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Telematics Salesperson at Access Control Group you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our MHE sales and services. Requires strong sales skills (80% of your time) with some technical comprehension (20% of your time). You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their unique asset management needs, and delivering tailored solutions, where applicable.
This is a base + commission position and offers a potential of well over $125K per year.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Identify and target potential customers in the MHE markets, including warehouses, material handlers, distribution centers and manufacturing plants. Develop engaging materials for trade publications and social media. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their specific charging requirements and providing exceptional customer service. Navigate potential clients through technical and commercial requirements, how to select a charger to meet their specific applications and offer the best solutions with minimal investment. Manage the entire sales process from origination to closing contracts. Including all required regulatory paperwork, sales proposals and fully executed contracts. Understand and promote company offerings, pitch sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the advantages of our telematics asset management solutions. Visit clients and potential clients to perform site visits, record notes and take photographs to evaluate needs, and promote company offerings. Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through the sales process. Maintain client records in CRM. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5+ years sales experience in B2B, SaaS applications Minimum: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business management. Must be comfortable with cold calling potential clients. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Good organization skills with attention to detail. Self-motivated, strong execution capability. Willingness to travel as needed.
