**Job Description: Business Development Director**
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to identify potential business opportunities, develop relationships, and understand our clients' critical business strategies within their accounts. You will work with a team of subject matter experts to create and execute solutions that help achieve our clients' business objectives.
Your mission will be to turn inspiration into real results for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in attracting, engaging, and retaining employees, running effective sales contests and incentives, building dynamic customer loyalty programs, and creating impactful corporate events.
This is a remote opportunity, but you must reside in the greater Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.
**Qualifications:**
- Currently located within the DMV area, as this is a hybrid role requiring periodic in-office presence when not in the field.
- Minimum of seven years of direct B2B sales experience, calling on Fortune 500 companies, with no more than three jobs in the past ten years.
- Proven track record of new business development, selling marketing solutions or professional business services.
- Demonstrable sales success through prospecting and growing revenue in large accounts.
- Experience with high-volume sales ($250k or more per sale).
- Expertise in handling broad sales cycles (three to six to twelve months).
- Compensation derived through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products is required.
- Proficiency with web, SaaS, and mobile applications is a plus.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
- Base salary: $135,000 (non-negotiable)
- Commissions: Potential for $175,000 - $200,000 in the first year OTE.
- Annual President's Club travel award.
- Car allowance, company laptop, mobile device reimbursement, and full expense account for client entertainment.
This is a direct hire opportunity.
