Business Development Account Manager

Description Capitol Broadcasting Company is seeking a Business Development Account Manager to join our Sunrise sales team in Wilmington, NC.  Sunrise Account Managers identify and work with local businesses to uncover specific goals and strategically develop marketing solutions that deliver results.
This individual will take a hands-on approach to uncovering businesses across the area that can be assisted by the services we provide.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing and eager to build new relationships. The ideal candidate will also have some media or sales experience with the drive, desire and hunger to grow into a dynamic account manager.
Responsibilities: Identify prospects across the market and make contact with prospective clients to secure client needs analysis meetingsCreate interest in our unique market position, services, and handle any objections that are createdCreate & present strategic marketing campaigns inclusive of radio, tv and/or digital advertising assets.Update and maintain complete CRM reportingProvide impeccable customer focused service & support to prospective and existing accountsRecommended Skills and Attributes: Intuitive selling and rapport buildingActive listening and ability to lead an engaging conversationTime management skills and the ability to schedule and coordinate multiple meetingsEngaging personality with a growth mindsetThe ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectivelyExperience with MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel and WordExperience working with Photoshop is a plusA college degree or equivalent experience preferredA pre-employment drug screening is required.  EOE, M/F.  All Capitol Broadcasting Company properties are tobacco free.  Capitol Broadcasting Company participates in E-Verify.
