You will leverage your skills in Power BI and SQL to create insightful financial reports, dashboards, and analytics. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing financial forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support.Essential Job FunctionsReporting to the Director, FP&A, the Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the overall organization with value-add PowerBI dashboards and analysisSupport stakeholders' business analytic needs, gather user requirements, help drive adoptionDeployment of the new dashboard and maintenance of the existing Power BI dashboards for various internal departmentsHandling administrative activities in the Power BI workspaceLoad and manage data collections within the Power BI data inventory to ensure seamless data integration and accessibilityDesign and implement guidelines for creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate data insightsDevelop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and visualizationsCreate and manage a secure archive of reports for historical referenceTransform data received from various sources into formats that meet both business and technical specifications for end usersLead collaborative sessions with various business groups to gather and document BI project requirementsConnecting various data sources to Power BI (Folder, Files, SharePoint folder, Azure, or such databases)Properly document BI processesEnsure data accuracy and completenessAdhere to data security and privacy best practicesPerform task independently using advance Power Query steps, DAX formula, Measures, etc.Should be creative in terms of producing visuals and showing data in presentable formatQualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field such as: Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied MathematicsMinimum of 1 years of hands-on PowerBI experienceKnowledge of Salesforce.com a plusExpert data visualization skills (PowerBI, Tableau)Demonstrated experience with enterprise data, especially ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, JD Edwards)Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle)Demonstrated ability to tackle problems across the full data stack, from data wrangling (leveraging SQL or other methodologies) to stakeholder consumption at scaleAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesDetail-oriented with a high level of precision in data analysisTo be successful in our organization you need an eager attitude, professionalism, and the confidence to willingly work to prove yourself and your ideas, and earn the trust of the organization Propio is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
