They are hiring a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in data analytics, particularly in SQL, to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of business processes and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. As a Business Analyst , you will play a crucial role in leading data-driven decision-making across various departments within the company. Business Analyst Responsibilities: Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate and analyze data from various databases and sources Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to automate data extraction processes Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of data Translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders Create interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate key findings effectively Identify trends, patterns and correlations within the data to support strategic decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, processes and requirements Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization Propose data-driven solutions to address business challenges and drive operational efficiencies Elicit, analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders to support data analytics initiatives Work closely with IT teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions Document data models, data dictionaries and other relevant documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities Drive initiatives to enhance data quality, governance and accessibility within the organization Business Analyst Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science or related field Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, with a focus on data analytics and SQL Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation and analysis Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science or related field preferred Certification in SQL, Business Analysis or Data Analytics a plus Preferred experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and scripting Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies preferred Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools preferred If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please apply today!
