Responsibilities
• Receives, labels, and transports samples as directed• Sets and adjusts control instruments on a computer screen• Inspects operations to ensure controls and equipment are operating properly• Performs other sampling activity as directed• Maintains written records including location and screen operations• Removes, inspects, replaces, or changes screens on screening equipment• Follows necessary procedures in starting up and shutting down• Washes, cleans, and descales equipment and work area• Performs all jobs in accordance with safety practices and sanitation standards
Requirements
• At least 1 year experience working on high speed industrial packaging equipment• High school diploma or GED is required• Ability to learn different grades of sugar• Ability to perform labor tasks such as lifting and handling drums• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions• Must be able to work rotating shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
