Job Description The purpose of this job is to provide care, general maintenance, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of Pilot Company buildings and facilities.
Clean specified areas as outlined by Custodial Supervisor. Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner, stripper, buffer, polisher, wet vac, wide vac, vacuum, extractor, pressure cleaner, hand tools, etc. Assist immediate supervisor in identifying needs relating to custodial, maintenance, and safety issues. Assist in set up and break down as well as clean-up of corporate activities in building. Ensure offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, hallways, lobby areas, are clean, presentable, and maintained. Clean surfaces of debris, smudges, and contaminates. Ensure all ashtrays, waste bins, and garbage cans are maintained and cleaned thoroughly. Perform personal cleaning requests for executives' staff, Owner, CEO, COO, CFO. Presidents, VP's, Directors, etc. Order, stock, and maintain cleaning supplies Inspect overnight contractor's work for completion and quality, report deficiencies to SSC Building Services Supervisor. Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guest and team members are supported at the highest level. Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures created by Pilot Company. Ensure understanding, comprehensive, and procedural guidelines created for custodial team member on cleaning procedures and responsibilities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent certificate required Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and understanding the storage of chemical solutions. Knowledge of custodial procedures and equipment. Ability to read and follow instructions. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. ability to perform minor repairs to equipment, building, and grounds. Ability to organize and establish priorities Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work within a team and independently. Valid State Driver's License Use of specialized hand and power tools. Use of specialized commercial cleaning equipment Ability to prioritize and schedule cleaning duties. Ability to work in fast paced environment unsupervised. Ability to follow written, electronically, and oral direction; great communication skills. Ability to quickly identify surfaces to be cleaned.
