Responsibilities As a Bank Concierge you are responsible for directing member service within a branch. You will greet members with a smile and in a positive and professional manner. Answer basic product inquiries from members and assist members with basic account services in a pleasant and positive manner. You will put the member and fellow employees first - every day - exemplifying Sun East's Mission and Values in all that you do.
Additional Responsibilities Include : Effectively handle problems and complaints Provide prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous service Answer questions effectively and provide information Resolves member account problems and questions Knowledge of Credit Union products and services Knowledge of Credit Union technology Knowledge of Credit Union policies, procedures, and processes Explains the Credit Union electronic services such as SUNNY, Online Banking, Bill Pay, SecurLock, etc.. Explain current promotions both deposits and loans Demonstrate consistent role as a team player Understand our financial competition and marketplace Use time efficiently Be open to learning new processes and methods and take the initiative to apply them to your job Listen carefully to directions and be able to follow and put into operation Process loan payments using the Teller System and Check 21 Hold an alarm code and half of the combination to support member service Be a second person as needed for ATM and Vault Perform address changes and file maintenance on accounts Be able to create new and/or replacement plastic card for members Complete the expected level of certification and training as required Be consistent example to team Receive and process service requests Be open to learning new processes and methods and take the initiative to apply them to your job Listen carefully to directions and be able to follow and put into operation Educate and promote the use of multiple delivery channels for the member(s) convenience Other duties as assigned Qualifications of a Branch Concierge High School Diploma, or equivalent A minimum of two (2) years previous customer service experience. Teller experience preferred. Proven ability to sell while building lasting relationships. Good math skills and PC knowledge; good public relations skills; ability to communicate effectively; good interpersonal skills; good organizational skills. WORK SCHEDULE This is a full-time position. Hours would be Monday through Wednesday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Thursdays 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. This position will require Saturdays 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at least 2 per month.
