RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain work records, logs, and time sheets. Perform pre & post-trip inspections. Convey loads to their destination in a safe and timely manner. Inspect material securing equipment such as cables, chains, binders, and straps and inform supervisor of any defects in need of attention. Secure all materials properly to ensure safe transport and compliance with DOT regulation. Assist with loading and unloading of materials and coordinate activities of workers helping to load and unload. Wear company-issued Personal Protective Equipment while on all job sites. Operate in a team atmosphere and assist supervisors and co-workers in performing duties. CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a valid Medical Card. Clean driving, with a current certified driving record/abstract. Good knowledge of roads on the required route. Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift items up to 70 pounds Able to participate in team lifts for objects between 70 and 150 pounds Able to maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, including marijuana COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: C ompetitive Wages Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) with employer contributions.
