Parts Authority is a leading national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools/equipment, and transmissions.They are rapidly expanding and currently have more than 200 locations across multiple states in the US.They are looking for a Box Truck Driver to join their team.

Responsibilities
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner.• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.• Ensure the truck is working properly by monitoring gauges, dials, or other indicators.• Follow directions from the dispatcher and adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without disrupting customer operations.• Provide excellent customer service, handle complaints and concerns professionally.• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.• Accept payments, prepare reports, and reconcile debt and credit related to deliveries.• Perform daily maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle.• Assist with store/warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Current, valid driver's license.• Ability to work weekends.• Minimum of 1 year verifiable Class C Bobtail truck driving experience.• Meet company insurance requirements.• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.• Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds.• Knowledge of money transactions and reconciliation.• Ability to utilize a tablet or mobile device for navigation and customer interaction.• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills.• Ability to take directions and work well in a team.• Flexible schedule with overtime availability preferred.• Knowledge of freight movement, equipment, policies, and regulations.• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.• Identifying potential safety risks in advance.• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
