Bookkeeper

The Washington Waldorf School, located in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking a Bookkeeper effective immediately. The Bookkeeper is an integral part of the School's Business Office and facilitates the clerical tasks to support the daily efficiencies of the Business Office. This position reports to the Business Manager.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Supporting account payables/receivables, recording payments, deposits and invoices.
· Collecting information for auditing purposes.
· Supporting all clerical functions of the Business Office.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree.
· 2 years' experience in accounts receivable and payables.
· Experience with Quickbooks desktop and Quickbooks online.
· Experience in Excel.
· High ethical standards.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Strong capacity to work collaboratively with members of School constituencies.
· Keen analytical skills and a detailed-oriented work style.
· Highly organized.
