Boat Mechanic

Position: Boat Mechanic  
Job Location: Hugo, MN
Compensation: $25-$35/hour
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri   
The ideal candidate for this position should have a solid understanding of boat mechanics and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship are also key traits for success. Job Details: Conduct regular inspections and perform diagnostics to identify mechanical issues on boats Repair and maintain boat engines, electrical systems, and other related mechanical components Install, troubleshoot, and repair boat accessories, including navigational equipment, fish finders, and audio systems Perform preventive maintenance tasks on boats, including changing oil, lubricating parts, and replacing filters Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to order necessary parts and equipment for repairs and maintenance Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards Provide guidance and support to boat owners regarding proper operation and maintenance practices Applicant Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of boat engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety protocols Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting.
