Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Moving blades using various equipment from one station to another or from building to building and place in proper position for the next taskUse a wide variety of large material handling equipment to position and load blade parts and completed bladesAssure blades are braced and strapped per specificationsMoving materials as necessaryDetect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditionsQualifications/Requirements:Ability to lift up to 30 poundsDesired Characteristics:Experience operating a forklift or other equipmentAbility to work independently and as a teamAbility to follow work rules, carry out instructions either written, oral, or diagram formStrong communication skills (both written and oral)Ability to follow all safety rules and wear all PPE as requiredAbility and willingness to work overtime, various shifts, holidays and weekends, as requiredDesire to take ownership and accountability in work and in company successAbility to work in a lean and fast-paced environmentShift: 6am-2:30pmAdditional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
