We are seeking a Biostatistician who will perform data management activities: including completion of data collection, entry, error reports, transferring, and editing. Perform statistical analyses for reports, publications, presentations and grant submissions under the supervision of the principal investigators.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities Manage and maintain multiple large datasets for several studies. This will include collating and storing mhealth data and merging multiple datasets. Develop and implement tracking systems to monitor and report study progress. Attend weekly scientific meetings. Present and disseminate information and data analyses. Prepares analysis plans, and writes detailed specifications for analysis files. Interprets analyses and writes statistical sections of study reports. Performs analyses on large, complex datasets, and documents analyses using STATA, SAS, and/or other statistical package. Provides research design guidance to study investigators. Assist in the development of questionnaires by making recommendations to data collection procedures and databases structures. Performs constructions of datasets, variables and data cleaning. Make suggestions or provide solutions to problems related to data management and statistical analysis. Produce tables and graphs in publication-quality form, and present results to investigators. Performs multiple tasks and other functions outside the scope of this position. Scope of Responsibility

**This position is an essential position which requires the incumbent to work from home during an event (weather or otherwise) that causes JHU to curtail its operations by closing some or all the university's offices.
Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related quantitative field. One-year related experience. Demonstrated ability on significant graduate project or additional doctoral education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of SAS, STATA, R and/or other statistical package, RedCap, Access, Excel, MSWord. Experience in database management and data analysis. JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience.
