The successful candidate will work with chemical components and different forms of equipment. Job Description Will be working with equipment and automation to dispense different kinds of media into a variety of containers sterilely, preparing reagents and additives according to media batch recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized laboratory. Other responsibilities are likely according to persons strengths and interests. The role will give strong working experience with media preparation, teamwork, lab production-based work, and a variety of automation and databases. These are all things desired in almost every lab position. Skills Required Sterile technique experience is a plus. At least 1 year of academic or company laboratory experience is desired. Database experience, ability to work in a team setting, and organizational skills are essential. Great attention to details, initiative, ability to work in team setting, and strong communication skills and all essential in this role. We are looking for someone that takes initiative, has a positive attitude, and can problem solve. Education/Training/Certifications A bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, cellular biology, or related field is required. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check Must be willing to work up to a 40-hour week with shift times at the discretion of the manager dependent upon production needs.
