Join the curious. The Biobank Supervisor is responsible for performing biobanking activities in support of the day-to-day operations. They will work closely with Biobank Manager to work leveraging their technical knowledge, skill, and abilities to ensure efficient operations of the biobank. What you'll do... Support day to day operations by receiving samples and completing the intake and put away process, ensuring samples maintain appropriate temperature. Observance of dashboard reporting to insure adherence to biobank commitments. Identify rejection criteria and documentation for samples and communicate to Biobank Manager Manage external communication regarding support of biobanking activities Safely handle, store, troubleshoot, or discard specimens as defined by the SOP Appropriate handling of biohazard waste and disposal Propose and participate in process improvements for the biobank Assess, scope and triage projects in coordination with the Biobank Manager Maintain all required documentation Must operate and maintain sophisticated equipment Lead the day-to-day work of team members Adhere to regulatory standards and other requirements as outlined in SOPs. Other duties as assigned Who you are... Bachelors degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in handling biological materials Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous team leadership experience The physical demands of performing the essential functions of this job include sitting or standing for up to six hours, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs. occasionally, and other activities. #Onsite #LI-RR
