• Set up and operate binding machines• Inspect equipment for safety issues• Operate automatic adhesive binding machines• Make adjustments to coordinate work stations• Direct crew through production• Monitor quality, output, and productivity
Requirements
• Ability to read and interpret work orders• Calculate distances, clearances, and fits in combining machines• Skill in using tools and devices to adjust bindery machines• Knowledge of complex bindery machines• Thorough knowledge of bindery machines• Knowledge of paper stock requirements• Skill in setting up and adjusting machines• Ability to prevent machining impressions on printed materials
