Position Overview :
Billing specialist to undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks to help guarantee the company's revenues. You will handle the processing of incoming payments along with the issuing of necessary paperwork. You will be receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility. You will manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies, issuing bills, receipts, and invoices.
Essential Duties: Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility.
Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies.
Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices.
Check the validity of debit accounts.
Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments.
Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines.
Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients.
Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Billing Specialist and A/R payment processing.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
Salesforce, Quickbooks, and NetSuite experience a plus.
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or BA, a plus.
Understanding laws and best practices regarding dealings with customers and data.
Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.

$65,000-$75,000

Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. To be demonstrated by the following:
o Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
o Written Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. Written work product requires little if any grammar and /or spelling corrections.
