Hours are 8:00am-4:30pm with rotating shift 1-2 times per month working 9:00am-5:30pm or 10:00am-6:30pm (Central Time Zone) Supports billing of policyholders insurance premium and posting payment receipts. Provides excellent customer assistance to policyholders, agents, and internal associates using various channels of communication. Prepares correspondence and takes appropriate action with delinquent accounts. Responsible for sorting and processing work in the Billing department such as endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits, and disbursements. Adapts to and supports continual change. Performs other work as assigned.
Preferred Experience and Skills 1-3 years of experience in Billing Customer service skills Mathematical skills Detail oriented Verbal and written communication skills Problem solving skills, ability to handle issues and problems Proficient in the use of computer software including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment Preferred Education and Training Some college education or equivalent Associate in General Insurance Designation #LI-LW1
