About the Job
Growing Medical practice is seeking an additional Billing clerk. Medical terminology required and previous billing and EMR experience is a plus. Pay will be based on experience.
Hours are Monday - Friday with paid holidays and excellent benefits. Health, dental, vision and life insurance are available after introductory/training period.
Patient and insurance company interaction is daily, so a friendly, positive attitude is required plus the ability to work in a team environment.

 
The billing clerk is responsible for generating revenue by: Processing claims. Establishing payment arrangements. Collecting on delinquent accounts and communicating with patients regarding billing questions. Post Insurance remits to appropriate account. Enter in diagnoses and charges to appropriate account using current coding protocols. Post patient payments to appropriate account.
