WIXOM MI - HYBRID POSITIONWe are a young, rapidly growing company seeking a number-loving, team player, "Excel aficionado"! You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, mainly working with a team to handle billing and invoicing. Additionally, this role involves a good balance of administrative tasks and analytics that can have a real impact. You will assist in accounting and finance projects such as tracking and analyzing KPIs, reporting, and building models to help make key decisions and optimize operations. To be successful in this role, you need to have a strong grasp of basic financial principles, bookkeeping and billing, excellent attention to detail, be self-motivated, have great customer service skills, and be proficient in industry-standard software such as Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel. It is a hybrid position, which means you must be able to work in Wixom, Michigan, several days a week and also remotely. This is a full-time position with medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan available. Apply today. This position is hybrid and applicants must be available to work in the Wixom office as early as 7 AM.Responsibilities: BILLING: • Invoice-assigned clients daily and weekly• Understand the contract and transaction for each Client assigned• Maintain the billing requirements for clients while keeping their contract files updated and perform audits as assigned by your supervisor.• Train as a backup for other clients in the event another Billing Specialist is out of the office• Communicate with field operations via email or phone for clarification and resolution• Research any invoice discrepancies or previous billings of an order to ensure accuracy and on-time billing• Process and schedule invoices in various customer portals• Process and close carrier invoices in the company's TMS system• Collections - Contacting clients with overdue accounts - Optional but appreciated Finance Analysis & Administration: • Digital filing and organization• KPI tracking for executives - includes goal setting, bonus, and incentive programs• Analyzing data and performance information to assess the effectiveness of carriers, shippers, and internal operations, providing important findings to stakeholders• Audit shipments daily by using the Customer Weekly Report• Banking, deposits, and weekly bill payment• Assisting in payroll management and process - preparing summaries for the payroll department • Calculating and reporting commissions• Various other accounting administrative projects as assigned by your supervisorQualifications:• Bookkeeping experienceExcel and spreadsheet - Intermediate to Expert • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel• Excellent communication skills are needed to interface with operating locations, internal functional departments, and clientsAbout Company: Welcome to Quality Freight Logistics (QFL), an industry-leading provider of unique supply chain solutions that deliver beyond client expectations.
