Position Overview: The Bid Coordinator is a key role in the commercial construction team by providing accurate and timely bids and cost estimates for projects. The Bid Coordinator will review and analyze bids and proposals, prepare cost estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction through the entire bidding process.
Key Responsibilities: Analyzing and understanding bids and proposals and determining how to approach responses Performing research and gathering the necessary information needed to generate accurate cost estimates Preparing cost estimates and creating innovative cost-control techniques Developing bid strategies and approaches to maximize profits Managing and coordinating the flow of information from the bid phase to the proposal phase Analyzing and understanding customer needs, determining customer requirements, and developing proposals that meet those needs Working closely with project management to ensure customer satisfaction Conducting research and market analysis to understand the competitive landscape for bids and proposals Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Cost Engineering, or related field Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively Excellent understanding of the construction process and the ability to read blueprints Knowledge of cost estimating, bidding, and proposal writing processes Experience in commercial construction and tenant improvement projects Benefits PTO
