ATC Healthcare Services is looking for Behavioral Health Technicians in Pottstown! Our client is growing and is in need of multiple BHTs to support their growing number of cases!Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct care and support to individuals receiving behavioral health services. They assist with implementing treatment plans, monitoring clients' progress, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.Responsibilities:Implement treatment plans developed by licensed clinicians.Provide direct assistance and support to clients in activities of daily living.Monitor clients' behavior and progress, documenting observations accurately.Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.Conduct therapeutic activities and group sessions under the direction of licensed clinicians.Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.Participate in training and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.Previous experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.CPR and First Aid certification (may be required by some employers).Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.Ability to physically intervene in crisis situations if necessary.Salary and Benefits:* $18/hrABOUT USFor more than 40 years, ATC Healthcare has provided leading nurses and healthcare professionals to hospitals and facilities nationwide.
