Beveller Operator

Job Responsibilities: (additional responsibilities may be assigned by Head of The Department) Perform all tasks as required by our training methods.  Ensure safety of all employees working around the area and report any near miss, safety incidences and potential hazards to a supervisor.  To operate all aspects of the machine with the end result being a uniform bevel.  Can adjust tooling to optimize the finishing of the bevel to the customer specification. Understands how to operate control panels and v-roll lines. Skills required:  Ability to multi-task.  Ability to run control panels and v-roll lines.  Good communication with co-workers and other departments.  Knowledge of the work flow of the shop.  Attention to detail and to make sure that the bevel is without any defects before the pipe exits the machine. Knowledge of the tooling and how to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.  Ability to change over the machine to any size that may be required. Bilingual. Physical Requirements:  Long hours standing. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Exposure to heat. Constantly moving. Work in tight spaces. Crawl.
