Responsibilities
• Develop and implement annual fundraising plan• Manage Foundation staff and resources• Identify and evaluate new funding prospects• Ensure compliance with regulations• Collaborate with development teams from UC• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Foundation• Serve as executive director and staff to the Board of Directors
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant experience• Proven achievement as a senior development officer• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Outstanding interpersonal skills• Experience working with donors and securing large gifts• Ability to develop multi-institutional frameworks• Organizational and managerial skills• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities• Ability to stay abreast of research trends• Experience working with nonprofit leadership boards
